Keiser Report Episode 571

I appear in the second half of the interview, talking mostly about the situation in Ukraine.

Excellent analysis, Dmitry, especially your breakdown of the relative advantage of the Customs Union over the IMF/EU system. Thanks for getting your important perspective out there into the media -- very much appreciated.

(And looking good in Costa Rica!)

You make Max look so pale, with your lobster sunburn, Dmitry. The contrast between the Thames backdrop and banana plantation is hilarious. Best to you from Casa Coco where I just finished Carnaval and am slowly recovering. I will tweet the show.

Not sure what happened with color balance, but I am not sunburned, just tan. And the place where I was for the interview is a gay resort that my wife and kid like.

Great interview. What did you mean about the Ukrainian people being sold into slavery as the biggest profit center? 16.25

How can they be sold as slavery is illegal? right?

Hey Dmitry! Cool to know you're in nearby Costa Rica! I discovered you while I was living in California but now I'm back in Nicaragua where my family is originally from. Cheers!

"Shadow paws over Ukraine.

March 2nd, 19:35

According to our Ukrainian friends, this night in Borispol Juliani and charter flights began arriving strong young men in ordinary civilian clothes – but each with several bulky bags field. In the U.S. Army which usually carry sets of equipment.

Strange way all these people are employed by private military company “Greystone Limited” – daughter of the famous “ Xe Services LLC “- former” Blackwater USA ”. Just arrived already up to 300 people. Objectives these strong – and well-trained guys – can be very different from the new government protection from hundreds of self-defense “Evromaydana” sweeps reluctant to cities in the East and South-East of Ukraine. The only question is how many of them eventually rally in Kiev – and who pays for this spectacular ballet is not cheap upstart Certainly not “the Government of Ukraine, I guess.

such as:

The Looting Of Ukraine Has Begun

by Paul Craig Roberts

"According to a report in Kommersant-Ukraine, the finance ministry of Washington’s stooges in Kiev who are pretending to be a government has prepared an economic austerity plan that will cut Ukrainian pensions from $160 to $80 so that Western bankers who lent money to Ukraine can be repaid at the expense of Ukraine’s poor. It is Greece all over again."

"From the outset of the crisis, Voltaire Network pointed out that mysterious snipers shooting at both the crowd and the police were identically observed in each "color revolution" or "Arab Spring" since 1989. In the case of the riots in Benghazi (2011), four members of the Italian Special Forces confessed, after the overthrow of the regime, to having been sent by NATO for the purpose of provoking a civil war."

Who are the Nazis in the Ukrainian government?

by Thierry Meyssan

"The Ukrainian government installed by the coup has been recognized by the Western powers. It includes several members of explicitly Nazi organizations, including two leaders who have distinguished themselves by fabricating false images of violence and torture aimed to convince Western public opinion of the cruelty of the democratically elected president, Viktor Yanukovych. The Deputy Secretary of the National Security and Defence Council of Ukraine openly acknowledges his ties with Al-Qaeda."

Original article is much longer and excellent if you can read french about a brave Israeli-Ukrainain soldier trying to keep order and reduce bloodshed in the chaos of Maidan crisis.

"According to the Israeli website, a unit of 35 armed and masked men and women on Maidan square is commanded by four former Israeli Army officers, who wear a kippah under their helmets.

The site claims that these former officers, who live today in Ukraine, joined the movement since the beginning of the events alongside the Freedom Party (Svoboda), although the latter has a reputation for being virulently anti-Semitic.

With the help of the Israeli Embassy, this intervention force reportedly also handled the transfer of 17 seriously injured persons to Israel for treatment.

The presence of Israeli units had been reported in a similar scenario in Georgia, both in during the "Rose Revolution" (2003) that in the war against South Ossetia (2008)."

Innteresting following alternative websites particularly in such crisis times when the monotony of officuial press grates on the nerves of intelligent people. Everything seems to be disinformation and propaganda.

Hey Dmitri.
Nice to see you on Max's show.
Glad you are having a good time down south. It's been a brutal winter here in Minnesota. Well, actually it's simply like the winters I remember growing up! But since the norm has changed, people have been freaking out.
I still bike to work as long as the temp is 0 for higher.

What is your reaction to this analysis of Russia and Putin and Russia's prospects? It seems like the same old tripe, but is there any basis to this dweebs claims that Russia has nothing going for it besides oil?
My own impression is that Russia does indeed have an industrial base, and smart high-tech innovators, etc. Also, this analyst claims that the corruption in Russia will cause its collapse. WTF? What about the innate corruption that is taking us down in the USA?
Be well.

That was one of the best, most straightforward, but information dense discussions of the state of the world that I've seen in a long time--sort of the equivalent of that perfect cup of espresso.

Thanks for the insight. I'll be following your blog with interest.

The Ukraine mess is just to secure NATO European countries and to make them no longer dependent to Russian gas (and oil) and in the need of fracked gas controlled by USA/Western big companies. Otherwise how could the US fracking industries and the port facilities investments survive? What a better move than to sever Russian-European links and simultaneously put the NATO vassal states at US feet?
